The cooperation of projects A01 and B06 with project A06 has been expanded with the laboratory visit of Jonas Roeder and Dr. Rainer Detsch (FAU Institute of Biomaterials, Head: Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini) to Prof. Förster’s laboratory in Jülich (A06). In collaboration with Dr. Stephan Hauschild first successful experiments were carried out on the production of microgels from ADA (synthesized in Erlangen) using a microfluidic chip developed in Jülich. The first trials are very promising and the technology will be adapted at the FAU Institute of Biomaterials within the scope of the research activities of projects A01 and B06.
