The PhD students of the SFB/TRR 225 spent this year’s Summer School at the University of Bayreuth.
A varied program that included lectures by national and international experts, social events and workshops during the last two days offered the participants an excellent opportunity to make new contacts, exchange ideas and get to know experts in the field of tissue engineering and biofabrication at the University of Bayreuth.
Despite the chilly weather, we had great fun exploring the city and enjoying the regional cuisine. The hike, during which an area of rain passed over Bayreuth, was rounded off with a convivial evening in the “Auf der Theta” restaurant.
Thanks to the excellent organization that made this event possible, we can look back on a wonderful summer school that we will remember fondly.
