Nomination as IUSBSE Fellow
We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Aldo R. Boccaccini has been awarded the title “Fellow of Biomaterials Science and Engineering” at this year’s World Biomaterials Congress in Daegu, South Korea. This honor was bestowed by the European Society of Biomaterials and the International Union of Societies for Biomaterials Science and Engineering (IUSBSE).
The title of “Fellow” is granted to distinguished members and role models in the field of biomaterials science and engineering. Fellows are expected to foster the field of biomaterials through their words and actions and to support its professional development both practically and intellectually.
Prof. Dr. Boccaccini was selected for his seminal contributions to the biomaterials field, with a special focus on tissue engineering, biofabrication, and drug delivery applications.
