We are happy to announce that Ms Lisa Schöbel, currently PhD student in the FAU Institute of Biomaterials, has won the Best Master Thesis Award 2022 of the German Society for Biomaterials (DGBM). Lisa carried out her Master thesis project on optimised and functionalised alginate based hydrogels for Biofabrication, within project B06 of the Collaborative Research Centre SBF/TRR 225 under co-supervision of Emine Karakaya, Dr. Rainer Detsch and Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini. The certificate was awarded during the Annual Meeting of the German Society for Biomaterials, held in Essen on 14-17 September 2022.
