“On 11th Feb. 2020 we received the visit of Prof. Humberto Palza, Department of Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology and Materials, (►http://ingenieria.uchile.cl/…/chemical-engineering-biotechn…) Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, (►http://ingenieria.uchile.cl/english ) University of Chile, Santiago, Chile. Prof. Palza presented the invited seminar “3D printing of bioactive scaffolds based on polymer/graphene nanocomposites” in the framework of the International Seminar Series 2020 of the Collaborative Research Centre TRR 225/SFB “From the fundamentals of biofabrication towards functional tissue models”. (►https://trr225biofab.de/) He also visited our laboratories and discussed future collaborations in the field of 3D printing bioactive composites. We have carried out collaboration previously with the group of Prof. Palza in the field of bioactive glass-polymer composites, and results were published for example in J. Biomed. Mater. Res. A [1].
